When you are planning a trip to London it can be difficult to decide whereabouts to stay. The city is so big, if you choose the wrong area to stay in you can spend half of your vacation trying to get to the parts of the city that interest you. It’s always a good idea to do a bit of research before you book your holiday and look at the sorts of things that interest you and find out where these places tend to be in London. If you can get an idea of an area you are likely to want to go to several times during your stay you should try to find a hotel in this vicinity.
For those of you that are novices to London. It is probably better to place yourself in the centre of the action in zone one of London. There is always a great deal to do in this area, and most people who visit London for the first time focus most of their stay on Covent Garden, Piccadilly, Leicester Square, Soho, Regents Street and Tottenham Court Road. These areas are all interlinked, and there is enough going on in these areas to probably last you a lifetime!
Whether you have been to London before or you are completely new to the city I always recommend people visit one of the theatres. Opening next year is The Wizard of Ox. This is highly anticipated, so if you fancy going, then make sure you book your Wizard of Oz tickets early.
Whatever you do and wherever you stay, have a great time!
